Question is, why buy a tub that doesn't have a latex inner? Or rather, why aren't Schwalbe putting latex inners in their top-end tubs?
All current Conti tubulars, save a few "one offs" in the ProLtd series (exclusively team issue to those few that absolutely demand latex), use butyl inner-tubes. According to Conti they found no advantage to Latex over using butyl but a number of disadvantages. The butyl tubes they use are really quite thin and special.
