Alsal. They'd do batteries too, obviously, but not sure of anywhere at Canary Wharf.

Seriously though, let me know how you get on. I'm seriously tempted.

Interesting to see Aviator hands on a Submariner base.
-
• #17182
Que? Is diver yes but Lolex, how so? You go clazy.
-
• #17183
That is the nice thing about them. The gash hands on most divers is what puts me of them

Aksherly Steinfart website was playing up looks like order hasn't gone through, probably a blessing.
In other news am picking up brand new Explorer I 39mm case tomorrow - whoop!

I just came here to ask about the Steinhart Ti - I fancy one over my normal Ocean 1
-
• #17192
Don't do it TL. According to the unwashed masses allegedly it's a Lolex - this must be because it tells the time - curse its eyes.
-
• #17193
Clearly an imitation.
But when the OG is that expensive ...why not?
-
• #17194
I was quite tempted when I received the email from Steinhart yesterday too. I have so far resisted.

I like the blue

What's it like to own a Rolex long-term?
You know it's subtle. You end up forgetting about what's on your wrist, it's not a big deal.
-
• #17199
Yes, yes I have... Probably buying a massive house shaped watch tomorrow...
No more timepieces for me for the foreseeable... Which is OK...

That's great dude. All the very best of luck with it, hope it works out drama free :)
OK so my gold Seamaster has more issues.
Where is the recommended place to take it to in London?
Also any suggestion of a place in Canary wharf to take my cheap Seiko quartz watch to get a new battery? I tried Goldsmiths but they wanted to send it off and at the other end of the spectrum the shoe place would sell me the battery but not fit it for me.
