I suspect their female customer base will not support more than one leg length.

I can add my gf to that customer base :)

Anyone used their cotton rain shorts?
-
• #205
I got some, not used them yet, it's been strangely dry this week.
-
• #206
Yup, love 'em. The fit is on point. Water repellency is decent too even after multiple washes.

I have the rain trousers
First time I wore them it rained. They got soaked in a couple of minutes. Thankfully they dry quickly.

Picked some up for £50 off ebay, hoping they do a job.

Btw got two cotton trousers Large (one blue, one green) at £35 which I want to sell back. Anyone?

The summer jobbies or epic cotton?
-
• #211
The fresh summer ones.
-
• #212
Anyone tried the epic cotton/waterproof ones? Considering a pair for my autumn commute, wondered how they measured up and if there are any other contenders for waterproof cycling trousers suitable for office wear?
-
• #213
I got the Epic Cotton ones as well. They are not waterproof, but water resistant. They look very smart and do their job very well.
-
• #214
Epic cotton got drenched in the first rain mine saw. Dried out quickly but they completely overstate the water resistance.
-
• #215
^this. But they're better than the Howies ones I had a couple of years ago.

My coat was pretty damn good except for the sleeves, although it was really fucking wet, since soaking through there though they've tended to soak through again quite easily. Gonna wash it and see if that helps.
-
• #217
Vulpine recommend you tumble dry it to re-activate the epic cotton.
-
• #218
Yeah 10/10 on overstating water resistance. Saying that however, they stayed warm and comfy..as much as wet shorts can be.
-
• #219
That's where it'll be heading after the wash.
-
• #220
Shorts arrived today, love the cut/fit. Will report back on how it fares in rain.

Many opinions on the summer trousers? Looking for a relatively comfy, non boil in the bag solution to commute to the office. Any for sells? M.
-
• #222
I rate mine. Slim fitting, comfy and quick drying. Don't believe the summer hype, I reckon they are good for 3, if not 4, seasons.
-
• #223
Sounds ideal. I run pretty hot as it is. How do you find the sizing?
-
• #224
Pretty accurate. I've a 32 inch waist and the M fit perfectly.
