I got two items in the sale, their rain trousers and merino button Jersey
The trousers are much improved in their cut compared to a pair I bought two years ago, better fit, less baggy and no elastic/button cinching at the sides.
The merino button jersey in a large is more snug than rapha pro team jersey in a large. It'll be used as a baselayer this winter.

I got 2 rain jackets in the sale - unfortunately there was a mix-up and one isn't what I ordered. Before I go into the returns procedure, does anyone want them for cost + small markup for my time? Women's Small Green, Men's Small Sahara. PM if interested.

Would you be asking Vulpine for that small mark up as well?

Ordered The summer shorts and trousers in the sale 8 days ago. I'm in Ireland and nothing turned up all week. Got an email today saying they over sold in the sale and that I wont be getting the shorts. got a refund straight away and i understand it's not an normal issue but still pretty pissed off tbh. I feel like they must have known there was an issue with the orders since the sale. They could have at least sent an email letting people know there would be delay in dispatch. Now a week has passed and they haven't dispatched any of the order, with me expecting it any day.

Anyone ever used their cotton rain shorts?
-
• #183
Yeah one of my item from the sale also turns out of stock. Got to email them before response, promised refund but nothing yet. They've email the dispatch report for res of the stuff though.

I ordered during the sample sale but only got an email yesterday, usually they're quicker but I guess due to the bank holiday they're a bit behind.

I Made a few orders during the sale and all has been well except bit more delay in delivering
Guess I'm luckier ? Or that mainly who got issues are the ones that comment about them?
-
• #186
well if you add up the cost to them of the freepost returns plus admin, re-stocking and re-listing, they are already paying more than the cost of the refund.
So, effectively, yes.

what, offering forum members the opportunity to profit from my disappointment at not receiving the item ordered and to get an out of stock item, at a bargain price, only a few quid more than I paid? I agree!

• #188
much wow!

• #189
I'm confused as to which of the two items you're offering here was the "one" that you didn't order. Or are you just trying to profiteer? Boo, hiss...

New stock launched today. The Harrington jacket has been improved quite a bit to my mind. Less technical and a nicer, waxier finish to the material.

how is it different, other than colours?

From the photo I guess it's sun proof and even more ventilated, but still windproof.... so you can ride it on sunny days by the beach to protect you from the rays but keep the chill off when there's a bit of an onshore breeze.

New site as well.
If you go over Men's without moving your mouse you'll see a note "Free shipping to all UK orders", if you then move the mouse over Women's that the text says "Free shipping to all orders" :)

Their new lookbook video's a bit weird.

Just got my order - seems I ordered the cobalt blue summer riding shorts. Rather than the navy ones.
If anyone wants to swap Large in Navy for my Large cobalts let me know.
Thanks,

plus a small mark up for your time?

Oxfordtoff is a dude, I'm sure he just means enough to cover postage and packaging instead of the free return.

Decent range IMO. It was only 10 years ago that we had very little choice in decent clothing now there are lots of options, Vulpine being one of the better ones.

What I don't like is that the Women range is still poor compared to the mens one.
Example: the trousers come in one length (Regular it seems) instead of two like for the mens.
@anidel
Vulpine often suffers from over fussy detailing, and I have had to return a much higher percentage of garments due to stitching failing than with Rapha. I am not such a fan of their choice of colours - though Rapha do have a track record of some pretty poor colour choices, they tend not to be across the whole range.
I frequently find their stuff to be close, but no cigar. Odd cut, strange fit, or weird details that don't really help. The magnetic closure on a trouser pocket did not work as the pocket flap developed a crease and it meant the flap did not line up correctly for the magnets to work.
It feels they are the poor cousin of Rapha, trying a little too hard to both emulate but set themselves apart. They are a brand that I'd like to like more but given their near Rapha prices I know which I am more likely to buy.
