In a previous job incarnation, when HRH the people's duchess of hearts, the lustrous-haired Kate, wore one of our frocks they subsequently sold out within hours. (Not sure if the Queen's twinsets do the same, mind).
Obv all the proceeds go to the owner and shareholders but the taxpayer gets a few quid from that. (And I got a bonus so huzzah for the Royals).
