  • Can't be anymore suffering than stuffing myself into the Rolla skinsuit.

  • £230?

Think how many takeaways that would buy.

  • Am thinking is an Aero suit really needed for CX?Why no CX Cap/Hat

  • It's a skinsuit, correct attire for cross racing. Though if you're racing CX I don't see why you wouldn't be in club/team kit.

  • To be fair the Rapha description says 'Cross Long Sleeve Aerosuit' still why no hat/cap like last year or was it the year before..

  • PT Gloves are more Autumn/Spring (YMMV). Good wind blockers, but not insulated.
Winter Gloves will be available later this week / early next week.

Can't comment on the softshell, but I was pretty uninspired by the mitts when I was trying them on in the shop. There didn't seem to be anything distinguishing them from any other gloves other than the label (and price). The leather ones look excellent in the flesh and get +ive feedback on here.

Thank you for the feedback, both - sounds like I need to wait to see if the 2015 winter gloves have anything to recommend them over the 2014 version/cheaper offerings

Any plans to do the gloves in larger sizes? i.e. so I can wear them?

  • Only up to XL at the mo. They fit my big hands. IIRC you have some kind of super long fingers? - there isn't demand for a bigger size I'm afraid.

  • After less than 4 months of northern summer use my nano legs already look like this ! Not impressed

  • No (Cross) Transfer Jacket either. One of their best pieces IMHO - I wear mine all the time.

  • Transfer jacket isn't anything special, it's the same as all other synthetic down jackets unless I'm missing something on mine.

  • I really like mine. The styling is very understated, unlike most of the latest city range.

  • You should send them back to Rapha and see what their customer service have to say! I'd love to see @Señor_Bear 's reaction if people sent back defective castelli kit to Rapha and then came on here complaining they did not send out replacements.

  • I couldn't care less. #dhb4lyfe

  • This. I used the dhb roubaix bib tights last year all winter and into the chilly spring. £40. Still good as new. And they have a cytech pad.

Now, back to rapha. Pro team jacket or pro team softshell for daily winter training.

  • PTJ. More versatile than the PTSS.

  • She spilt coffee on her new Cross jersey...

  • ... I know that feel bro

  • Bunch of cheap Arcteryx transfer jacket-alikes on sport pursiut at the moment.

  • that nuclei is warmer than the rapha. Equivalent arcteryx jacket is atom lt I think

It's the length from tip of thumb to tip of first-finger I think - means that when holding a bar the material is tight against the finger tips, which removes the ability of the insulation to insulate. It's also uncomfortable as the glove tries to curl your finger and thumb inward.

I guess that companies like Craft have the scale that allows them to offer larger sizes, and that the concern within Rapha is a big pile of XXL gloves in spring?
