The TT will be in the dark. Awesome. BMMF words will always ring sharply in my ear tho - after the first time I did this he said something like 'I hit the TT and it was nice and peaceful once I got past all the heavy breathing and flashing lights' :(

I'm in. What does TT mean already? (and BMMF? I'm assuming you do not refer to Beijing Modern Music Festival)

TT stands for time trial, on this route we traditionally sprint the last 10 miles from the point the end of the loop where we rejoin the outbound route (the lollipop stick) in an "every man (or woman) for himself (or herself)" style. Tradition also has it that everyone declares how tired they are and how they do not wish to sprint today, before going balls-out (or v... actually I'll just leave that one) back to the station/pub/Hertford if you are following Ludwig.
(and BMMF? I'm assuming you do not refer to Beijing Modern Music Festival)
BMMF doesn't stand for anything these days.

Way too unfit for this mate. Still getting my legs back. Also I don't have a decent front light for country riding.

pretty sure the muscle memory from the Norths attendances will get you through nice and easy,
got a headtorch, Petzl, with ample lumens, that could light up your path!

Nope! I'll go at the back then.

At least until it gets dark. Talking of which, have you got a decent front light?
-
• #25
Yep. RSP Asteri 3, which has been OK in the past. Think it's 200 lumens.
38 flat and frantic miles in the shape of a lollipop.
Liverpool St 19:11 arrives 19:45, returns: 22:30, 23:13, last 23:44
