Three Stage Hill Climb in the Cotswolds

Anyone want to catch a train to Swindon on Saturday lunchtime to compete in or watch this?

It's in a beautiful part of the country. Each stage is an hour apart; first man off at 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00. All the hills are pretty close together so I thought I might just pootle around the Cotswolds in between to keep the legs moving. I think my buddy Soroush is coming but I thought it's a good excuse to get to out to some pretty countryside so I'd open it up to the forum. I'm not organising a ride or anything, I'll try and plan a decent route in the lanes around the event, anyone is welcome to come along. Getting a train around 11 or 11:30 from Paddington.

I live and ride in Marlborough and haven't heard about this, though have done a few of the climbs around Aldbourne. It's definitely good fun, and if you had time the village down the road (Ramsbury) has a pretty steep climb aswell Spring Hill. You could also cycle over to Avebury (Stonehenge 2.0) and back up to Swindon. There are also train connections in Bedwyn and Pewsey if you get desperate. Good Luck!

The event has been canceled unfortunately. Gonna do the Reading CC HC the week after though.

Will you be on fixed? It's good for Streatley, but not Flint Hill.

You may well need the big ring on flint hill. There's a mile of 3% in the middle.
