  • I know. I actually think it might be a pals old house... his mum refused to buy it via the council and was re homed for it to sell to someone else.
    Don't think there are many prostitutes round there anymore either.
    Defo moving back to Norwich one day... retire at 50!

  • But will the London<>Norwich disparity still be there when we want to retire? Or will we all be teleconferencing from home, and therefore London house prices will plummet to match those around the country? At the moment my tiny zone 3 flat would (if I owned it all) be exchangeable for a nice house in Norwich, but will that still be true in 2040?

  • Yeah course it will. London will price everyone out soon, Norwich doesn't even have a dual carriage way to it yet. 2 bed in Zone 2, I'm buying half the bloody city when I get back! Toot toot, only 15 years until its feet up with some vino and bon fromage.
