Wasp casually stung me on the ear lobe the other day as I was cycling to the post office.
It was an experience as I hadn't been stung since I was about 7. The only thing that let me know it was a wasp was the horrendous thunder of buzzong next to my ear then a very sharp pain. Wasn't as bad as I remembered though. Probably because I'm tougher than I was when I was 7 but not by much.
A few days later my lobe was the size of a walnut as the stinger was still stuck in my ear and had become infected. Cheers!

A couple of months back I knelt on a tarpaulin covering some floor tiles out the back of my workshop, I felt something go squish and then was engulfed by angry wasps. Not very angry though as they didn't sting me.
A couple of hours later they'd managed to fix most of the cracks.
I've been assured they'll leave come winter but at the moment they seem very happy there and it seems to be increasing in size every week :D
