Yeah, have considered that. There are quite a few in Portslade. Needs to be vaguely accessible to either Hove or Brighton station.

Wouldn't bother with Shitehawk, full of wankers and students. I lived at the top of Bevendean for a bit, up in the 'bowl'.
Not too bad and you have the station by the Uni close by.

The train line running to Arundel has plenty of wee villages along it which are quite nice, I'm actually down that way most weekends, the place I ride is by Goring By Sea. Fuck Worthing for sure, hell hole.
A chap I worked with lived in Shoreham and commuted in to London, he was a colossal prick but I'd imagine he chose a decent place to live.

Shoreham is nice, you've missed the boat on the best deals but the other side of the river towards Worthing still has some good value stuff.
