cheers it was the brevet long sleeved jacket
-
• #22403
I can't see that. Do you mean the jersey? If so, it's a jersey, and not a waterproof jacket. That's the difference.
-
• #22404
Probably means the new rain jacket with the brevet style striping on the chest.
-
• #22405
Sorry Chris I have not been clear I mean the Pro team jacket and the brevet jersey. I thought the pro team jacket was more like a jersey than a jacket.
-
• #22406
The clue is in the name - pro team jacket as opposed to pro team long sleeved jersey
-
• #22407
PTJ will be warmer and maybe closer fitting. It's Polartec as opposed to SportWool.

cheers to you both, I got the description its just that road.cc said it felt like a jersey!
-
• #22409
would not really agree with that description, the front facing material is windproof, the back is a stretch fleece on the pro team jacket. fairly much my go to winter riding garment*.
*just for clarity i do wear something on the bottom half too

1200km in 90 hours. Rapha Grand Tours Gloves bought on here. Some lightweight or whatever last ever London sample sale socks. Left one changed to pair two after 800km. Sample sale arm and kneewarmers at night as EN471 brevet gilet from Kilver Court, Wiggo pro team baselayer from Manchester sample sale, lightweight jersey on here. Sleeping for a few hours in long sleeve merino baselayer bought full price and touring shorts forgot where I got these from. The buff and the merino hat got a free ride. Thank you Rapha.

Well done, Ludwig.

• #22412
Yep works out at about 6km per £ Rapha if I'd only used the kit on this ride.
-
• #22413
Yup, seems working good, I guess you need to know how to use it, though.

Is this a quiz?

Have you slept yet?

Rapha sizing is crazy!
I'm 6'5 and 105 kg so XXL in everything of course.
Arm warmers came today and they are so baggy they won't stay up -
• #22417
6'3 and 78kg, medium is a good fit but I just don't even bother with the long sleeve offerings. It would be cool if they did some of the classic stuff with a longer sleeve option

Try DeFeet Armskins. I have the Coolmax version and they're very good. Also available in wool:

there will be no more yellow bidons!

Ordered a pair of (medium) merino boxers. Opened the pack to find a (x-large) brevet jersey and gilet. :/
Provided a good laugh over my morning coffee.
-
• #22422
How odd. TO be fair you could probably fleabay the jersey and gilet and use the money to buy two pairs of boxers at least.
-
• #22423
Saw another picture of the shadow Jersey. All matte black and again, from the design point of view nothing special.

?
Brevet gilet? Much lighter weight material. Also no arms.
Race Cape is a hardshell. It'll be warmer and more waterproof for longer.
