Sahfark Cahncil do refer to it as a 'contraflow cycle path' on their website, but I think there's also a shared-use path sign (one of those blue circular ones) facing south as well.
They should just make it like the Blackwall Tunnel 'tidal flow' thing: north in the morning, south in the evening
