If you use grease between carbon and aluminium it will chemically bond together. Use carbon assembly paste.

First ever bit of carbon kit arrived in the post this morning, a lovely USE Alien seatpost.
Should I use a little bit of grease? It's going into an alu frame.
I've read conflicting opinions.
