I'm looking for examples of this style of cantilever routing, only without the fastback seatstays. I know lots of mountain bikes used to do this, but I cannot find anything. What should I be searching for?

What should I be searching for?
"brazed rear cantilever cable stop" seems to be a workable search string, but swamped with non-integral ones too. The type in your picture is a load of wank, while oddly this one isn't:

Anybody with Bont riots (in particular the MTB)? the sizing calculator is suggesting I size down from my normal shoes (Measured three times now). In other brands I normally have to size up. Has anyone else found similar?
-
• #70659
I have had 43 in most bike shoes I've owned (including bont vaypor) but I had 44 riots and they were fine, but a little wide.

Sounds like I've ballsed up. Did the riots last? I'm thinking these or some privateers. If anyone has an opinion?

I still use the riots from time to time. They are great shoes

I have a 2.1 pc speaker and the subwoofer part of it is pulsing constantly so I opened it up and just unplugged the subwoofer from the board inside.
Searching online lots of things point to a ground problem and say that the pulsing is the protection circuit going on and off. What should I be looking for on the sub speaker bit? Should I even be looking at that bit?

Any wire that is disconnected, corrosion, parts that need grounding but aren't. Kind of difficult to say from a post tbh. Testing it would be the key.

\ - Carbon greenhorn alert - /
First ever bit of carbon kit arrived in the post this morning, a lovely USE Alien seatpost.
Should I use a little bit of grease? It's going into an alu frame.
I've read conflicting opinions.
Thanks. -

And use a torque wrench.

I should have added "other carbon assembly pastes are available": Tacx is just what I happen to have.
I fitted Lifeline cables for someone recently and was impressed though.

Torque wrench absolutely necessary? I don't have one and I wanna test out the post NOW.
I actually have a little sachet of finish line carbon fibre grip! @Greenbank

No, you only need one for parts you want to keep. ;)
One of these will set you back less than £15.

If you use grease between carbon and aluminium it will chemically bond together. Use carbon assembly paste.
Get one of these

Torque wrench is a must.
I need a Blackburn Cam lock* (or equivelant) but can't find any anywhere. Even SJS failed to turn up anything similar.
*The piece at the centre of this image, that links the 2 bars and allows you to tighten them against each other,
I could also do with the J shaped arm and the eyelet on the end of it but can make something similar if they are not available.
Oh, I know other brands use this type of fitting but specified the Blackburn version as the bars of their racks are 8mm which is the fitment I need though I could work around a mm or 2 either way.
