I thought Rodgers was on a "job for life" deal at Liverpool?

Did you honestly expect anything else from Levy?
I'd like to see clubs blacklist Spurs, refuse to do business with them altogether and ban Levy from the directors box and let him buy a ticket to sit with the away fans.

• #118905
Thought that was kinky?
-
• #118906
No. But having had a bid of £22m rejected you'd think he might up the third offer up a bit.
-
• #118907
Part of the problem with Levy is that he never expects to pay for a ticket.

Chelsea fans, what can you tell us about Papy Djilobodji?
Pretty good score at Scrabble.

Dunno, lots of vowels means you'll probably be opening up the board for your opponents.

From the looks of this window the game is truly eating itself. A lot of amateurish work.
I had it last year with BR. Now I'm just counting down the time....
Lovren over Sakho?!

More points than Chelsea have then?

Bradley Johnson could be a good signing for Derby, he might keep them up.
-
• #118914
Derby going for broke then?
-
• #118915
Anything is better than what's happened so far this season.
Personally, I love the business we've done today. I thought the Johnson rumours were a piss take at first. Makes a change from selling our best players in deadline day.

1.5m for Lescott? Seems like a decent bit of business given the absolute madness going on at the other end of the scale.

How much? 900 mill in this transfer period?
BT and sky subscriptions....

BT and sky subscriptions....
Stopped paying for the Sky 5 years ago (when they stopped giving me 50% off), only had BT Sport has I have BT Broadband, not paying for the new BT Chumps League channels.
Radio (Cricket), terrestrial telly and Twitter does most I need now. The rest I can happily live without.
Friend with Sky and some spare slots on his Sky Go player doesn't understand why I don't want to sponge off him.

Got to come up with a boxing metaphor big man.
Look forward to you writing more than four lines, when my name is not mentioned, about something you enjoy/intrigues you about football.
Or not as the case may be...@Soul, @clintsmoker are wba going to be alright if Berahino follows through on his non playing threat?
Son and n'jie had better adapt fast to the premier league as Kane currently needs all the help he can get. Feels like we had 2/3rds of a good transfer window and The Sheriff needs to coach up the players he's got for us to keep pace with those looking to hunt a champions league place. Though this season is looking like another consolidation year and a run at a cup.

We have enough without saido. Shame that we are at this pantomime again though. I smell Odemwingie.
I say we have enough but that is relying on Sunderland and two others to keep us up. We really are shit. Every game I hear/read these adjectives..dour, dull, boring, slow ...and then the words 'lack of...' Followed by your choice from imagination, pace, guile, composure etc
It has been three seasons since we entertained anybody on the pitch. -

But the money has to come from somewhere.....
I'd like to think they'll be a pop in the bubble in a few years, or at least a slowdown in the insane growth of cash in the game.
Given the rights packages are mostly just a fight between Sky and BT it would only take a little bit of collusion on the bidding to put a big dent in the PL's income. But BT are currently bidding (and winning) rights for lots of things that were Sky's mainstay (Champions League, Ashes, Golf, etc) and many Sky customers are locked into a two year deal that started last year but now doesn't have Champions League, so this will only continue to fuel the bidding war for the time being.
On the other hand, £80 a month for Sky/BT is still way cheaper than an adult and a child or two to two football games a month, so I guess there's a big buffer before many people think "fuck this".

You can sign up for BEIN at £12 a month and get a HD stream to your TV for all the PL, La Liga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 games you can swing a cat at.
You'll also get all the tennis tournaments thrown in for good measure as well.

We were excellent against Chelsea both this season and last.
Still champions, still in the CL and all the cups.
Rocky start to the season but we'll be amongst the CL places come May.
Our boom bust cycle usually happens in April.
Will next season be your year or will it be the one when Klopp takes over from Rodgers?
