So I'm currently getting the bit together to build a frame to hang my bikes from. The plan is for them to hang by the rear week with the front wheel removed.
I'm looking for some hooks but every with I've seen look a bit flimsy, thing like these.
I'm sure the hook itself would be up to the job but there doesn't look like there is much thread to hold it into the wood frame, am I just over thinking this ?
As long as the full thread is in the wooden frame and it's been drilled to correct size I really wouldn't worry at all. I have hung all my bikes from these at some point the heaviest of which is well over 10kg.
