For sale is my Merckx Premium Chocolate Jacques race bike. Size 50 (53.5 effective tt). Beautiful scandium pro tour frame from the mid naughties, it replaced the Team SC at the top of the Merckx lineup in 2005. Belgian made from Easton sc7000 taper wall tubing. Only covered about 4000km since new, excellent condition with only a few marks on the drive side seatstay from leaning against stuff in the house over the years and a chip in the headtube paint through to the undercoat. Moving in with girlfriend and sadly have to cull the stable as there's just no space. After much internal struggle have decided to let the Merckx go as the frame was always a bit cramped for my height. Still a top frame in terms of weight and stiffness by modern standards, accelerates and climbs better than anything else I've ridden. Will be gutted to see it go. All in good working order. £650. Now £600 Based NW London.
Spec:
Ultegra 6700 group (beside callipers which are 6600), 170mm 52,39 cranks almost new, some scuffing to shifters.
Easton EC70 fork
Triango wingbars, knick through to the alu on RH drop under the bar tape. Bar were like that when I got them and never been a problem.

Tyres - Vredestein tricomp, bit tired but still ok. New giant psl in photo optional.
RS80 C24 wheels, good condition, rear developed a slight buckle of around 1mm.Will provide shimano spoke keys to sort that out. Wear indicators still very visible.
Cassette mix of 105 and dura ace
No pedals
