The link below might be better. There rubbing marks on the inside of the free hub and the axle is scored quite a lot.

In terms of the wheel, it was making a bit of noise, which didn't seem normal. It also wasn't freewheeling well, and felt like it had too much grease, or was too tight if that makes sense? When freewheeling it was 'pushing' the crank forward and would drop the chain if back-pedalled.
