Pinnacle have a sales with R685 for a grand.

Bit over my budget and as much as I'd love it I think hydro might be overkill for me.

I'm looking for a seatpost bag like this one or beter any advices ?

Get the alpkit dry bag thing. £15.

Wildcat do a good version, holds a drybag inside.

alpkit is not distributed in France...
the only one I can fine for 100€ is the Alpidura

Thing about the London Road is that you need to replace the housing with compressionless and dial it in to bring to most of it.

It's really is worth spending a bit more for the Arkose with the Shimano R685, it's a massive leap in performance.

Get compressionless housing and take it to a reputable LBS to get it sorted.

Does it only run while moving, or does it keep on for a bit once you stop?

This one? Have you used it on its own? the blurb talks about limitations...

Note: This Airlok will fit perfectly inside one of our Koala seat packs. If you want the lightest possible set up it is also possible to attach it directly to the seat post as a lightweight saddle bag. However be aware of its limitations: sitting underneath your seat it will be exposed to constant abrasion, mud and grit which may eventually wear holes in the fabric. Other options include systems such as the WildCat Tiger padded harness.

Yeah it's great. For the price.

It's more fiddly and takes a few more moments to secure but it can be secured so it doesn't move.

My mate was using it on our trip from Istanbul>Croatia.

We managed to secure a srap from the drybag closure through the saddle (Romin with cutout) through the cutout. This pulled the end of the bag into the saddle tight and it didn't more at all. Zip tie through bag around seatpost. Fastner strap around middle and through saddle rails. Due to strapping it like that it moved bugger all, even when standing. So was good bag.
We used a sea2summit dry bag inside and then just pulled that drybag out and pushed it back in, as bag was attached with zip tie.

It runs for a bit once stopped - about a min maybe (but I'm not sure if that runtime varies).

Have you seen the brake light feature? Because it takes energy from the rim, the closer to the rim the brighter (in certain modes). Being brake arm mounted - when you brake it gets brighter.

Really quite tempted by them. Are they light enough ride by on unlit roads?

A bit is all you need really. That's always been the thing I didn't like with some dynamo lights.

Yes! That is a really cool feature. Also because it's such a second nature visual cue for anyone who drives.

Not really for the type of riding we'd be doing. Fine for a townbike / pub-hybrid. On par with a 1w led cateye.

I'm using it alongside a 1k lumen cree thing just because it's nice to have a backup that could get you home.

Does anyone have an arkose 2 ? Kind of tempted but worried it might feel slow. Also want to see the 2016 model
