  • it's a bit of a daft product really

I'll remind you of this in 3 years time when you no longer own any jerseys or bibs... maybe

anyone who races should be wearing club/team kit.

Not if I'm just going out solo for 90mins 'training' AKA riding my bike.

I've seen some loners using them for 24hr TTs and such like – people without clubs I guess (or in clubs without suits).

  • Why not regular jersey and shorts? The only situation I think I could justify one for myself is training outdoors on the TT bike, but that rarely happens.

Don't get me wrong, I love the concept it's just the connotations of it. Then again, I saw a guy on a hybrid wearing t shirt, shorts and an Evade today so maybe you're right and these things will become commonplace.

  • I regularly see a woman cycling here in normal clothes, on a sit up and beg bike with a basket and one of those Kask aero lids with a visor.

  • Why not regular jersey and shorts?

Yeah. They work too. But if you fit these then doing away with the straps and some doubling up of fabric is nice, plus...

They are also quicker to dress in and cheap.
