David is on the move again! Not far from Istanbul!

It looks like, among other things, he had a problem with his tracker. He has a similar issue near the Slovenian border a couple of weeks ago.

Now just the lumpy bit and then the descent. It is gone 10pm out there. Wonder if he will wait until morning.

33 days 20 hours. He could complete it in under 34 days

I am sitting in my office having just started what is likely to be a two hour or longer conference call. My phone is on mute but I am listening and while I do I am clicking refresh in a manner likely to give me RSI.

Hopefully he will complete the race before the call ends.

Feels like TCR is going to end tonight for good

It does. He is making good progress. It hs been a brilliant event to follow from the fast riders like @skinny and Josh Ibbett through the riders like you and the other "ferry boys" and then the resolute riders to the rear.

I have to say that what has really brought it to life has been the use of Twitter and Instagram during the ride (special mention to Leo for his superb Instagram posts) and then the blogs after the ride but, most of all, the contributions that riders have made on here. I have never experienced a sporting event where we have had such access to the athletes. Thank you for riding and thank you for sharing on here.

He's just started his penultimate descent. He comes down this and then climbs to the last high point and then descends to the Bosphorus and rides along the shore to the end. One last climb!
