Glue some threaded inserts into holes drilled into the rear of your seatpost and treat it like a functional fairing?
Won't be going anywhere near the new frame with a drill! Don't think it's wide enough to drill either. And still expect it'd fall out of the cage. It almost escaped from a BTA mount! Seems fine on the downtube though.
