The lack of movement on the tracker is so frustrating... Clive's suggestion of a night ride is possible but it seems unlikely that he'd choose to spend 20+ hours i his current location. I really hope we get to know more of his story and hear about his finish. If the batteries are out on his tracker then it's not inconceivable that he might be finishing this evening.
