  • Would anyone recommend treating the inside of their steel frame? I was chatting to a chap this morning who recommended doing it with (I thought he said) AS50 (but was probably ACF-50).

  • A bit of gt85. And take your seatpost out and leave the bike inside in the warm a couple of times each winter.

    If you don't have a drain hole in the bb it's not a bad idea to drill one - it saves you pouring water out of your seattube and trapped water rotting your frame from the inside.

    I reckon if you have a high end thin walled tubeset it might be worth putting framesaver inside.

    TBH it's the type of thing I have planned to buy and use in all of my frames, but never bothered.
