Yet? Once it's available commercially surely someone could figure it out and, if they're so inclined, stand at the side of the road during races with a scrambling device to sabotage the signals?

Possible. Of course. Just look at the hacking of various cars in the US recently.

That was because it connected to the Internet, also it took a whole year to do and they could only change the radio station and volume.
