These are not too flexy in 400mm c-c http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Newest-VukaSprint-V2-Road-bicycle-UD-full-carbon-fiber-Handlebar-carbon-bike-handlebar-31-8-400/2038504862.html

Yeah, was also looking at the Zipp knock offs. Do they have internal cable routing?
-
• #3729
yes

• #3730
I bought these:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2015-New-OEM-customized-Road-bicycle-UD-full-carbon-fibre-bike-handlebars-internal-cables-31-8/32269003748.html
When I received them nicely wrapped I found a crack in the left wing tip near the stem. I don't think it was transport damage. First the seller said that was nothing and they would work fine. But I could flex the material around the crack with my thumb.
I sent them back for a refund. still pending. So it is a bit of a lottery, buy 2 and get 1 that maybe works and so on... .. but they ARE cheap. -

Yeah, no thanks.

• #3732
Buy 2 and return the one that gives way on a 85kph descent.
All prepared like a scout.

yeah...
I've also bought this disc fork:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/The-road-bicycle-carbon-fiber-fork-fit-v-brake-and-disc-brake-hard-fork-700C-gloss/32258737801.html
and have been using it for a couple of months. It has a 1 1/8 steerer and 370mm axle-to-crown and about 40mm rake. I like it. It's much more direct than the steel fork I had before and claimed weight of 490grams is true.Minus points are:
downward turned dropouts (as opposed to forward facing),
very little room for the rotor (some hub-rotor combinations could be a problem),
max tire size of about 23-25mm,
no holder for the hose (I've used a piece of heatshrink tubing over the fork leg+hose)
and random occurring thoughts of it suddenly disintegrating. -

I know this is probably the wrong place as they're 26" MTB wheels but I bought these:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/EMS-26-Novatec-Hubs-V-Brake-Rim-MTB-Mountain-Bikes-Bicycles-Wheelsets-Wheels-Parts-Free-shipping/32361277485.html
For my old Kona as pre-built good quality rim brake 26" wheels are kinda hard to find (didn't want Shimano hubs).
Despite them needing a little true and being stung for import duty they're not bad. Didn't save a huge amount over buying in the UK and I would've done if anyone actually sold them. -

Any recommendations for a rigid 700c CX for rim brakes.
Was gonna go with a lite bicycle 25x25 but pretty much wrecked a tb14 today so a bit worried about strength :(

Sputnik?

I raced summer cross on Sputniks this year. They're wide, deathproof, much brake track, heavy, beads need (( popping )) onto rims (and sometimes don't sit great first go). Not bad.
I've changed to OpenPros now. I'm pretty cutting edge like that.

If I'm going with aluminium it'll probably be an archetype but I really want carbons.

Looks real good, hope I can get it between some mini V's, I'm pretty sure they'll be happy to add a braking surface for me.

what is the best option of carbon bottle cages? nothing too expensive
Looking at getting some of the 3T Aeronova knockoffs from ebay. Anybody got any links to any other simmilar orient carbon bars with a nice flat top?
Apparently the unbranded 3T Aeronova shape bars are actually 3T bars from the same factory, but just bare carbon.
What is the quality like of orient express carbon bars like in general?
Cheers!
