Nike are killing re-issues with the shape. Prolly to push harder on their new tech which is a bazillion times cheaper to produce.

They should just reissue the core OG AJ1 line-up every year and be done with it...

Agree...the Mowabb and the 95 are really good examples of how bad things are. Feels like those days where you open the box and put a shoe on in total awe are gone for retros. Even the new AJ1s are a total mess. However, I think the 87 is a retrievable situation. I almost didn't want to post that pic because of the way the toe box looked...in hand, they're a lot better. Plus the toe box can easily be rectified. I'm gonna get those pewters.

Apart from the tick on the Chicago I think they've done a pretty good job... That said, the only OGs I've actually managed to grab in the last coupla years were the black toes...

Re Mowabb, I have the 2007 retro and the current ones seem to have a nicer finish... Or maybe it's just because they're not beaten

I find that my 2007 retro look cheap, was expecting worst for the 2015 and surprised when seeing them in the flesh. Now I've never seen OG ones...

Change the gold to a tan/suede and I would be all over these.
