You and me both. I keep kidding myself they are an investment but really they are just a time and money hungry indulgence but a damn fine one at that.
Not NOS but pretty good at that. I bought 2 sets recently of a very nice guy local to me and this believe it or not is the lesser or the two sets. The other set is destined for the 70's Super when it comes back from the painter.
Benotto tape is definately the way to go but I didn't have any so good old Deda Mistral to the rescue. It was a bit 'bling' to say the least but a light rub with shoe polish has given it a nice aged patina.
Those brown Dia-Compe hoods are great for the money and fit Campag levers well, Shimano 600 arabesque and modolo speedy. Again a bit new looking out of the box but easy to give a bit of age to.
As for the 91 master there is only one opinion from my camp. Goooooo Foooooor Ittttttttt
