I haven't actually worn them on a bike yet (cos who actually rides bikes these days anyways??) but when I tried them on they were the nicest, softest, non-sausage leg giving bibs I've ever tried on. And a blurry bargain at £40.

@Ecunard the summer jersey is nice and thin for hot weather, pockets on the back are a good size, including a zip. FYI VOID is race fit so beware when picking the size! Yet to test out wind gilet but it got the seal of approval from @edscoble (who only likes Rapha).

It is very nice.

@kati I actually saw you guys cycling on the north side of Clapham Common. I spotted the jersey and by the time I realised it was you, it was already too late. Must have been good for yesterday's weather !

So last year I bought the Chrome ladies black waterproof hooded jacket and it is most definitely not waterproof anymore. Bit disappointed by how quickly it went, and glad I didn't pay full whack

I think @Ecunard actually sent it back because it wasn't really waterproof from the beginning..

that was to longest and most painful exchange of emails of all times.
I'm still mad at them.

Worth re-proofing or coating in something else? The quest for a waterproof yet not sweaty and clammy continues :(

I'm going to email them but without any hope of a refund etc, just so they know their product's a bit shit!

Gave my new Castelli Gabba LS jersey/jacket a good testing in this morning's torrential downpour. Seemed to hold up okay, not sure it's really designed for that much rain, still got sweaty, but not as badly as I did on Monday in my Rapha rain jacket.

Ha! I'm on the Chrome website as we speak/type. Have just walked back from the gym this lunchtime and my Pasha is absorbing water now rather than droplets forming and rolling off. If this was a rain "resistant" jacket then fair do's but a waterproof?? It certainly used to be more waterproof. According to their website you've got a years guarantee which again seems a bit shoddy given their ethos/approach

e2a harumph. just discovered I paid nearly £90 for it. For that kind of lolly I want it to be waterproof for more than a year!

I don't hold out much hope of Chrome responding to me - not even an acknowledgement of a form being submitted so far!

Fingers crossed it fits as the biggest they had was medium. Have to say so far I'm loving the couple of bits I've got from Vulpine so far so finger crossed this follows suit.

It took me a few months to get a refund out of them when they sent me the wrong item earlier in the year. They would respond to 1 in 3 emails with a delay of a few weeks each time.

However - found phoning them was much more useful - there is a number on their site somewhere for EU customer services. Don't think they'd done anything about it at all until I rang - still took a couple of weeks to get the money back post-call, but quicker than the emails were being.

Problem at the time was something along the lines of the EU office not being able to refund money on paypal, so they'd have to send details to the US team who had the authorisation to do so.
