Some of my bikes are n=2 at the moment and I have run out of space for spare wheels. :S

Nah, fuck it. I need to get Scherrit to finish my other Archetype so I can send my old PT over to Australia or Poland. It has the P2M which I'm happy with. I'd really like to get the G3 disc cover working but it ran out of battery (I hope) during PBP so I'm a bit annoyed with its power use (or I might just have underestimated my mileage between changes). Now I'm considering what to use for TransAm - ride the Shiv, the Tarmac or something new?

I'm running myself into the ground.
My swim threshold is set too low. But my run threshold too high. I think it evens out. But I should update Things. Part of the problem is the current decent weather and long days. eg. Last Nights simple 2x20 was a 200+ TSS 100km ride. But I also struggle With the Whole combining running, cycling, and swimming thing. Think I'm panicking, throwing volume at the problem. Then getting fatigued so I cant face intervals, so throwing more volume.
I have 3/4 days off every 2 weeks.

TP won't give me a discount on wko4.
I've got 8 months TP online left. Shame.

I was tempted to reply to your twitter conversation suggesting you try golden cheetah ;-)
I'm in the same position... 10months left on mine.

I did but don't like GC interface for planning future workouts. I find TP really good for planning builds over time and use PMC to see where I'm going.
GC is good for aerolab.
But yeah, £100 isn't happening soon.

yeah, I meant it more to annoy the folks at training peaks.

when are you going to get one?

When I can afford one... other purchases keep getting in the way. It'll be a winter on fixed, hopefully pick one up in Spring.

For anyone looking at the cheap route... from a club mate:
Maybe I got a Friday afternoon unit, but it's been pretty poor, with inconsistent readings, crashing and battery drain. Support from 4iiii has been good, but the pm hasn't.

DIY PM in a bit shit shocker

Why would they though? They're not writing the software for fun.
How much is the upgrade anyway?

Ooh... 790eu for the Specialized one. I could use the S-Works cranks that came with the Shiv to build up a set of nice power cranks for the Tarmac or whatever I end up using for TransAm.
Actually, the Tarmac already has those cranks so I could swap it straight in.

I'd get a P2M for the Serotta if they did an Ultegra version, shame that that was so short lived (the Rotor/Shimano four bolt).
@smalfurry your TSB always seems to be very low compared to mine, in the last 90 days I've only gone below -20 twice, once was after swimming 5k and then going for a 2 hour bike ride and the other was after a half ironman.
it suggests either you are running yourself into the ground by not giving yourself any recovery time (I tend to have a recovery week every three weeks) or your threshold is set too low - or maybe my training is all wrong!
