Do anyone know where to buy cheap batteries for a Canon EOS 500n? Seems to be at least 9euros/unit everywhere and does not last long..

Thinking to move on my Mamiya M645 if anyone is interested? same camera from this link but has some minor issues not mentioned like a very small crack in the metered prism glass. Minor frame skip every so slightly on the odd frame so you loose the space of one image over a whole roll (not a whole frame in between shots if that makes sense). I can let you try it out first etc. It has taken some very very nice shots for me and only reason im selling is to try fund a slightly better one like the M645j or something a bit newer.
Paid £180 but with the small issues would like £130/140 or an offer near to that if you can collect in person?
A few shots taken on it -

Sorry this might be a bit late, also a question that's tricky to answer as I don't know what interests you, but I often recommend buying a day-pass for public transportation and just drive through the city, hopping on and off.
The S-Bahn (and part of the U-Bahn as well) oftentimes goes on elevated tracks (like at first floor level) through the city, giving you a interesting perspective. -

I've had mixed results from Cinefilm 50D, a couple of nice rolls and a couple of near usable rolls, might be due to travel or processing I'm not sure. Here is another from the more usable pile... Hope I'm not reposting my own stuff, awful memory...

when this film is great, it's great...
Indeed.
Great colours.. that Ford bonnet is insane. Any post apart from curves? -
• #10388
Cheeers, yeah that bonnet blew my mind.
And nah, no post really, tiny crop to neaten, maybe a tiny tiny tiny curve tweak but I have a feeling that's straight from the scanner (although obvs with the usual colour correction when scanned).
I hope they manage to rescue the 3 shit films... -

These colours made me weak and the knees. Keep it up dude!

Hello everyone.
I need some advice on buying a new SLR. I want something solid, decent in built meter with aperture priority, a decent 50mm 1.8ish lens, maybe something longer for portraits too.
The Nikon F3 seems decent but I honestly don't have much of a clue what my options are. My OM1 is alright but the meter is past its best and I really want something with aperture priority. Thanks in advance you clever bunch!

Also, does anyone have experience of the OM4 - this seems like a decent option as I'm familiar with the system and already have some lenses. It seems like a decent option unless I'm missing something that the competition offers that I'm not aware of.

I have an OM10 that I have forgotten how to use if thats any use?
-

How about a Olympus OM-2 (or better OM-2SP) ?
If you already own good glass for Olympus I'd just stick with it.I use a Nikon F3 at the moment, and while it's great it's also heavy.
If I were to switch back to another system I'd surely go for Pentax;
I love their small bodies like the Pentax ME, and also I'm a fan of their optics. But as said - just stick with Oly if you own some good lenses already and get one of the later OM's that offer aperture priority, they're great cameras.

From what I've read, the difference in meter/features on the om4 over the OM2-SP are significant enough for the extra money (not to mention they're both pretty cheap anyway!).

..yea, makes sense.
To be honest I'm not that familiar with the OM series, but I guess if a OM-4 isn't much more expensive I'd go for it as well to get some more features and to get a less old camera that's more likely to be in good shape. -
