  • Often heat SIG's aren't big enough so I unload the rocket pods but yeah, same concept.

  • Fucked all week, no speed, much phlegm

  • Sounds kinky.

  • Who on earth signs off on these type of concepts?

London, there was a massive consultation last year.

  • That'll be the speed.

  • Rage quit my job in Hertford so tonight was my last ride home through the dark Essex country roads. There was an air of calm warmth and a distinct lack of effort up the inclines, of which I took to be a sign that I did the proper thing.
I'll miss it though, even though the route was routine and uninteresting, some of the sunrises were sublime, as were the moody moons on those crazy lunar cycles.

    10/10 would feel vindicated again.

  • London Cycling Campaign are after people that are cyclists in London but not members to do a quick survey, some lucky surveryer will win £200 in bike shop vouchers. And it'll help them.

    Cheers.

  • Survey done, however

The draw will take place on Monday 17 August 2015

  • "grazed" by a transit this morning. just coming up past the Hoxton Hotel, 2 lanes there but both pretty empty at that time, i'm on the lane closest to the kerb, transit comes past my shoulder, cuts into my path, i move over as far as i can as it wasn't stopping, managed to stay on the bike but my brake lever scratched the transit pretty badly (good!). they didn't stop. i got the last three of the number plate. have reported it to the police. also have a few samples of their paintwork on my brake lever so fingers crossed for a CSI paint analysis montage type scenario.

  • Not many cyclist about today.

    Love the rain..
    10/10

  • WHAT RAIN!!!?

Left the house expecting rain around 7:30 and not a single drop! Was in my race cape and expecting the worst, but instead I was just drenched in my sweat and eventually had to take it off half was through my commute!

    5/10

  • New chain and brake pads. 10/10-would ride again.

  • I'm so glad I put everything back on the mum bike.

  • Got to work at 6:30, no rain.

  • It was raining when I left at 06:40

  • Wasn't raining when I left this morning, pissing down by the time I got to work. Was dry on the tube tho.

  • What a lovely looking sky that is....

  • On the way home, just after leaving, I look down and behold: My bars are under an angle. Turns out the quill stem had loosened...

Good timing as it could have happened on a busy road with as result an Indra. (Had 1, enough for me...) :)

  • Stacked it turning into a completely empty road near Victoria. Bruised pride, sore shoulder/hip and scuffed saddle/grips. Brooks may also be fooked, as its soaked, even through plastic bags.

tl:dr Don't lean! (Especially on wet manhole covers)

  • Brillant sun this morning! A bit too much of motorized two-wheelers to my taste, but anyway.

    10/10.

  • Big shout to the guy in a suit on the Boris bike giving no fucks pulling huge tyre-screeching skids up to every red light. Decent trackstands too.

  • mouthy posh twat at the ped crossing on endel street. muttering under your breath about 'fucking cyclists' because two of us neglected to stop to let you cross while you were still a good ten paces away is why you got called a 'fucking cunt' two inches from your perfectly mansturised face. kill yourself.

  • Someone in a gas mask riding from Oval along vauxhall street. Hopping reds, going on the pavement, generally riding like an idiot, but hey - that air pollutions a killer, right?

  • Small bike syndrome ... can still accelerate the fuck out of half the people on road and track bikes.

Small wheeled bikes accelerate quicker. It's physics.

The power you put in to the pedals goes into two main things:

    • Kinetic energy (you moving forward at speed)
    • Angular momentum of the wheels

Smaller wheels = less momentum and so more of the input energy goes towards moving you faster

  • Have you contemplated having a wank?

I tend to find that gets all the angry out.

Alternatively, try picking a cloud and try to blow all your angry into that.
