Epping Forest: Episode III - Return of the Badgers

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it regardless, have to take on an extra shift tomorrow. Though I can't imagine I'd be kicking myself about it if it's this horrible outside!

Cheers for this - I'll give it a go some time this week! From mine in Bethnal Green is look like I can get to Epping with almost no time on roads. That's kind of neat.

Or I could take the train directly from Bethnal Green station.

Hah! At least I now have shorts that cover my knees!

Can only apologise to @Gregory and also @606 for not being clear about my non-attendance today. I'd usually arrange a list, so I knew exactly who was turning up to the ride and who to wait for. Due to being a bit last minute about things this time, that didn't happen. I won't make that mistake again.

Probably best that I start a new event each time as well, to save me getting confused with multiple threads and previous lists of attendees.

We both know our way around the forest so it was no great issue. Waited at the station for about 10 minutes, but seemingly no-one else was braving the imminent rain.

Wet tree roots provided a few sketchy moments, but there's not much mud about.
