Amey, it always have a trim function, you just never realised this in the past.
-
• #928
true; I was also a tart/pro-buyer.

Hmmm - this one? https://www.canyon.com/en-gb/bikes/bike-detail.html?b=3748
Ticks the boxes for group, wheels and paint job. Was kinda set on crabons, but having been thoroughly pleased with the performance of my Roadlite, I'm open to staying with Alu, especially at that kit level and price. Decisions, decisions.

I'm still rocking 10 spd Rival on my AL (with Red brakes) - love that group.. has done an absolute butt load of miles without problems.

I'd go with mechanical: https://www.canyon.com/en-gb/bikes/bike-detail.html?b=3746
And get U-shaped chinese wheels like these: http://www.wheelsfar.com/road-wheels/clincher-tubeless-compatible-wheels/38c/38mm-x-25mm-dt-350-clincher-tubeless-wheelset.html
Spend rest money on aero suit and aero helmet. If you like Roadlite you will love ultimate

Yeah, it's like a lux version. Kind of ugly welds, but so so solid to ride, never misses a beat. Pretty damn stiff too.

lux
look at this fucking designer

The new Canyon pricing is pretty good, especially the Tiagra equipped Endurace.
-
• #937
innit .. have you had chance to fiddle with/test 4700 yet?
-
• #938
Endurace carbon Di2 is cheaper than that oddly enough.
-
• #939
Not yet, would like to see how the levers feel, they'd make a great replacement for any old Tiagra shifter, also cheaper than the 4600 shifter too.

Are Canyon very easy to break in half? Was very surprise how little effort it requires to fuck it up without tools.
-
• #941
Anyone got a vcls 2.0 seatpost in 27.2 going spare?
-
• #942
I take remarkably bad photos... but here's my Ultimate AL SLX
A mix of SRAM red 10sp and 11sp - weighs in at ~6.8kg
-
• #943
Lovely; what wheels? Also is that small?
The VCLS seatpost will remarkably make it comfortable. Not even the fancy 2.0 leaf spring one .. -
• #944
Yeah, it's the small - need a longer stem though, 90mm isn't quite right, thinking 100-110, Giant OD probably.
The wheels are AMP Hoops, just rebranded Chinese carbon, but they were on sale on SportPursuit a while ago and got them for a reasonable price.
Seems pretty comfortable so far - haven't been on any long rides yet though!

• #945
I have a 100mm Ritchey one which I'm unlikely to use now, if you want?
-
• #946
I've got a brand new one not used for sale.
-
• #947
How much set back, and how many dorrah for it? I haz long femurs so need the one that does moar setback.
-
• #948
its an inline otherwise i'd have had it
-
• #949
Different FD cable pull = not compatible with 4600 FD

Den nehme ich gerne! Vielen Dank.
I did 3 london-brighton-london rides on it 120+ miles made me question a lot of things :P refreshingly comfortable and quick.
