Ah @lucyh, this bike would've been perfect but I just bought another CX bike that was more expensive and not as nice :(
Lovely bike and great price, sure someone will snap it up soon!

Having seen it, I can confirm Howard's statement. This bike is indeed rad!

This bike is awesome and just what I would want if I wasn't currently mid build on two others.
Dangerous question: Would you consider splitting, and if so, how much for everything without the 105 mini group and wheelset? -
• #9
no because i'm stressed and i cba, splitting is long and at present i have no guarantee i would shift all of it post-split (desired outcome). i really need it gone in the next week!

• #10
That seems fair enough. Good luck!

I keep looking at the geo table and wondering if i can stretch to fit it.. Have a bump anyways :-)
-
• #13
Have two bumps ...? :p
If this had mounts for mudguards etc I'd be sorely tempted. GLWS

Oh hrm. Rear rack but no front. Decisions decisions

Great success!

Thank you! Hopefully it will be my one bike to rule them all. I enjoyed the ride back to the office, which bodes well.
I'm selling this bike complete minus pedals and saddle. 51cm cross bike which will suit riders 5'7 - 5'10, geo is here.
2011 Cannondale CAADX frame / fork
2011 Fulcrum Racing 5 clincher wheels
105 mini group - shifters, cassette, mechs
Tekro 720 canti brakes
FSA Gossamer chainset / rings
Titanium / steel hybrid BB30 bearings
Tiffosi Carbon post
Controltec / cannondale bars and stem
It now also has a fork mounted cable hanger which I installed as the front canti was juddery (common) - runs absolutely fine now, no movement. The rear mech derailleur was snapped when I bought it and this has also been replaced. It's got (mismatched! Oops) 25c tires on at present.
Previous owners are @laner and @Howard who bought it new in 2011. It's seem some cross use but I've been using it mostly for Kent rides and not many of those at that - only selling because I want to fund other projects. It's a great bike and super versatile, can take a rack and mudguards for touring, a smooth commuter or a reliable cross bike.
Further (much better quality) pictures can be found here. - it's got slightly more wear in the form of a couple of scratches but virtually unchanged, no dents etc.
£450, Peckham
