I wouldn't go anywhere near those places... They sold me refrozen chicken once many years ago, it turned into sponge when I cooked it, dinner ruined... I never went back... The hygiene can be a bit iffy too, frozen fish sitting on top of 'fresh' uncovered chicken, anyone? Nah...
Any of the places in the covered markets are way better...

best to use the ones inside brixton village (market), usually use the one which is beside the colombian??? butcher, next door to honest burger, really fresh fish, good staff, great service, or the fishmongers which is next door to franco manca on the other side. Similar prices, and again very fresh fish, or if you don't mind spending a bit more, there's the fishmongers on atlantic road, opposite argos...
Does anyone use those fishmongers on Electric Avenue? Is the fish fresh? I was in one of them the other day, got some pretty good raw prawns and mackerel, but while we were there a bloke came in from the back and dumped two big frozen fish in the sink to thaw, making me wonder about the whole setup. Maybe they do that for the bigger/more exotic fish only? Anyway ours was pretty fresh and good value.
