hi, drilled the front forks on two bikes and got two brake sets. was going to put the front brake on the back and rear brake on the front. bought a longer recessed nut to test and even so only about 4 threads are engaged, and thats without any washers. this does not inspire confidence. i want to resolve this as cheaply as possible.
does anyone know where i can buy spare front pivot bolts cheaply? SJS have one but its extra long to convert to nutted fitting. i have also put up a page in the wanteds if anyone has any spare or old broken front brakes i can take the pivot bolts from.
any advice much apreciated. this is the last part of the puzzle before i can finally get the bikes on the road!!!
