well, there is a german brand Diamant and a belgium brand Diamant (as there is a dutch and a austrian company named RIH). The Link youve posted: Belgium. In Berlin youll see a lot of german Diamant track bikes, as they were made for the east-Germany track teams.

Diamant was (is?) a brand from the Simons company that was located somewhere in the province Brabant. The other is, as mentioned before, a company from the former East-Germany and to make it complete,there was also Diamond that was a brand from Brasseur (located in Liège and former distributor of Muddy Fox and GT in Belgium).

Thinking of taking a punt on a steel Diamant cx frameset. Sadly, as a fcukwit, I'm unable to post photos of the one I have in mind, but it's very similar to this one,

But with triple top tube guides. According to Wiki, they're German, so why do some get posted up as Belgian. Obviously, as per my username, I'd prefer it to be Belgian.
Any knowledge shared would be appreciated.
