Still has a crack in the seatstay, need to get it to a framebuilder in Bristol, and just have't got round to it.

The Romet build with 23c tyres:

I, instead, would go for the Maffioletti. True the color is a bit rad, but...it is a highly regarded frame builder.

Is this the same one that was sold here: http://www.fixedforum.it/forum/topic/20841-telaio-maffioletti-pista-58x57/

Maffioletti
You could probably do more with it having those colours and spice it up a bit rather than be confiner to specific colours ect.
Even the yellow tape on that romet is rather risqué. That said the romet is very nice.

I don't even know why I put those bars & tape on my romet. This is its most recent look:
Being from Poland I would always go for a Romet, but I don't suppose you have a similar dillema. The Maffioletti is nice - fancy paintjob etc. The Romet Super, however, is also nice but a bit more raw. Your choice :D

Hmmm I do like the Maffioletti but I wouldn't be able to match that build, the stem is Maffioletti pantographed for example, and would cost an extra £50, while the Lang is a blank canvass. In the hospital getting my knee checked out, fingers crossed.

Commiserations on loosing your Benotto mate, that sucks! That Maffioletti is my pick for sure, the paintwork is rad... nobody would miss you coming down the road on that thing!!

Commiserations on your crash, but you're a cyclist and that shit will always happen. The silver lining is that either of those frames is nicer than your deceased Benotto.... Lang for me but only by the slightest fraction.
I preffer the more modern seattube cluster, fork crown and chainstays of the maffia beik. And the paint is amazing.
