  • disagree. Gabba sizing is pretty true to size, if anything it comes up a bit big.

  • Rapha; flattering rich fat people since 2004

  • The purple shorts are a fucking fashion disaster, fact. But i feel that about most of Rapha's city collection. seriously though ... lilac fucking shorts?! blinded by rapha

  • blinded by Rapha

    dressed up like a douche
    another rider in lilac

  • Depends what you wear with them, I have some very tasteful Hawaiian shirts that go well with putrid purple. From what I remember the folks at Norths were very complimentary about them on Tuesday.

  • The purple are well nice. Quite a few compliments in them, some from attractive ladies.

  • ^^ Agreed. The yellow is not as bad a shade as I expected, though it is a bit translucent.

Meanwhile, my Rapha Backpack turned up, well nice. Will see how it holds up over time.

  • There is definitely some Rapha-esqe version of Stockholm Syndrome going on with purchasers of the randonnee shorts, they are fucking awful, cheap granted, but awful.

  • that purple is the kind of colour French exchange students wore in the 80's when dressed in naf naf clothing

  • Sounds pretty good to me.

    #ontrend

  • I like my purple ones, they go well with my carton of grape juice and neon donnay trainers

  • The stitching on the outside of the chamios started coming undone after only 4 wears on my fine ladies new Rapha bibs. Upon enquiring with Rapha, she was told that she'd need to post them back as they couldn't accept returns in store. (Is this true?!?)
Anyway, upon sending them a few photos, Rapha have redeemed themselves by putting a new pair in the post the same day before receiving the old pair back. Nice one Rapha but why no in store returns?

  • Were they bought in store?

  • Got my aerosuit. Loving the little flap at the front. Gf says I definitely don't look like Pete Kennaugh in it, which is disappointing.

  • Gabba back to £140 evrywhere. Balls.

  • I bought a pair of the yellow Radonee shorts in store for £20 today and I look like a fcking Don in them!
(a rather camp Don I admit- but they are lovely so I don't care)!
Service once again was surprisingly fantastic again!
    Top marks Rapha....::

  • It's still cheaper at alwaysriding.

  • Online but still...

  • Seems fair enough to me, especially if they were to cover the return postage costs.

  • Still, bit shit for £160.00...
4 wears, falls apart, must send back.

  • Put in envelope; put address on it; fakenge(r) it if you are in London that is.

  • Absoloutely. Shit happens. Counterpoint supplied. #InB4@Señor_Bear.

  • Yes, but why can't you drop it back in store? Why must you fuck around taking photos then send back?

  • So, you bought your bibs online, and you walked into a retail rapha store for an exchange?

Obviously it would be understandable to only get return/exchange from where you bought it from (this case Online)... Plus, how can you complain after they sent you a 2nd pair before you even posted your flawed ones back? They went above and beyond imo, and you're still fussing about it :S

  • If i bought something online i'd expect to be posting it back if there's a problem with it. Maybe they should let you drop it off at their HQ / the Death Star, if that'd even be convenient for you.
