torx security bolts (with the little dot in the middle). Are they worthwhile
They will successfully foil the very narrow segment of crooks who are too subtle just to chop your lock but too thick to bother to carry the very easily available Pin-Torx drivers. Security fasteners which rely on non-standard drivers are a form of security through obscurity , and Pin-Torx is nowhere near obscure enough to provide any worthwhile security.
On balance, I would (and indeed do) take A2 Torx over A4 hex where that's the choice.
