I think i actually exclaimed "no way" as I thought you were going to cut in behind him. But it never happened! To be fair... to do that looked like it would have taken all the commitment/madskidz.

Haha yes, from recollection I keep asking myself why I didn't swerve inside him, maybe I froze or was groggy from sleep but I think I just saw him too late and just didn't expect to be heading directly for a cyclist side on down a one way street. Maybe better reactions may have saved me but I'm not sure, peeps on the roadside said there was nothing I could do, and blamed him entirely.
Haha I remember sitting up and seeing it splash down on the tarmac, dimly wondering if it was mine and where it was coming from.

The irony of you saying the last bit was there's a Dia Compe clamp on brake on order, and with the wheelset, also ordered, I was going to put a bigger sprocket on. I was only on the bike because my Guerciotti is in the LSB, and is only style there because the wrong part was delivered. The Benotto was my only operational machine.
Yeah I can't work out is there was something else I could have done to avoid him, but he was just right in front of me, side on as I came around the building. Fuck sticks.
