@Jimmy_Fingers I saw this crash happen! I crossed the road (on foot) just before you took the rh bend. It crossed my mind it might have been you but didn't recognise the bike.
It looked nasty. Slow but a bad fall. Someone was calling an ambulance. As a cyclist my second thought was 'is anyone gonna nick his bike' but you looked in good hands. Heal up dude. [and fit a brake/gear down!!!]

The irony of you saying the last bit was there's a Dia Compe clamp on brake on order, and with the wheelset, also ordered, I was going to put a bigger sprocket on. I was only on the bike because my Guerciotti is in the LSB, and is only style there because the wrong part was delivered. The Benotto was my only operational machine.
Yeah I can't work out is there was something else I could have done to avoid him, but he was just right in front of me, side on as I came around the building. Fuck sticks.
