I have a very similar query, There is a 6' by 4' concrete base for a former shed that I want incorporate into a base for a 8' by 6' shed. My plan was to place some concrete slabs alongside the existing base to take the overshoot of the shed-base, ie the wooden joists. Would it benefit to having the wood only in point contact with the ground, or does running a long length of wood in contact with the concrete make sense?
I got mine from somewhere else in the end, simplygardenbuildings/A1 sheds which was already a lot more than 5% cheaper than Shed Store for the one I wanted.
Any recommendation for where to buy pressure treated 4 x 4s?
