Err... Maybe interested in the v1 pod :-) I'm still waiting to hear if either garmin or the lbs can help me out with the v2 pod set, but if they can't then I'd probably be interested.

Cheers, you are right V2 are probably the way to go... I want new bearings and my pod is broken so it seems like the sensible option. However I'm cross that the v1 pods broke through no fault of my own after only 18months... not the sort of thing you expect from a piece of kit that was £1000+.
I've contacted the LBS where I bought them and they were keen to be helpful, but they can't do anything until I take the pedals in and show them which is a faff since thats a couple of hours round trip now. Also, I'm not sure they'll be able to do anything since the warranty is only 1 year (ridiculous IMO) and they said that Garmin typically take a dim view of failures that look like they could have been user-installation error. Mine have never been over torqued and broke at 25nm so no error on my part, but it's exactly the type of fault that could have occurred if the unit had been massively over tightened.
I guess I'll try to get to the lbs later this week and hopefully persuade them to give me a heavy discount on the V2 kit.

If I were you, I would wait for a warranty replacement, ebay them new and buy a p2m.

Problem is, warranty is only 12 months and doesn't cover things that look like user-install error. I fall foul of both of those points so I'm not optimistic that they'll replace them on warranty... I'm going to need the lbs to lean heavily on Garmin if I want a full replacement.
But otherwise, yes, P2M does look attractive.

warranty is only 12 months
Bollocks to warranties. You have statutory rights under the sale of goods act.
user-install error
Oops. Unless you followed Garmin's own install instructions, of course.

unfortunately mine were bought in the USA by someone else on my behalf, the time it would take to sort would be completely impractical as I'm racing next weekend and don't fancy the bike of a 70.3 without power....
I am seriously considering following Dan's advice at the end of the season, which is a hefty 2.5 weeks away!

Will I have any issues trying to move my p2m classic from an old rotor 3d to a newer rotor model with the same bcd?
-
• #5640
The BCD is irrelevant, as that's determined by the P2M spider and not the crank. You can't fit a 24mm spider to a 30mm crank, or vice versa, but I don't if the newer Rotor cranks have the same splines for the spider as the older ones. I suspect not, but I imagine P2M would be able to tell you.

I feel pretty secure in my 280w FTP. I've been training pretty solidly, so it so be increasing. But I also seem to be holding a -20 to -30 TSB. So if it is increasing, I'm too fatigued to Access any extra Power. I blame SLVLSS.
Syncing my TP account With WKO4 pegs me at 301w FTP. It also gives a cyclist type as 'Pursuit'.
What does this mean then......?

How do you like wko4? Not heard glowing reviews so far.

To be honest its a mate thats playing With it, and my TP account. Hes far more into training science than I am. He seems to be pretty into it.
TP is easily complicated enough for me.
I just want the PMC, and to be able to break Down a session to look at intervals. TP does this nicely IMHO. So I dont plan on changing.

What is that? Tempo? Threshold?

Zone 2 for HR and Power for Froome, assuming 160ish FTHR and 420ish FTP (probably a slight underestimation)

Jesus.
I wasn't doing very well though.
