We've found a house here in Oz we like, going for a look on Tuesday... Fingers crossed!

What are house prices like in Oz? I have been living in NZ for a few years and it's painfully cheap here... I came here with 500 quid and could put a big deposit down on a 4-bed house tomorrow. Makes me want to stay permanently, if only my partner wanted to... ach.

Cheap-ish where we are, unless you wanna live right next to the water... But even then you'd easily get a house for £500k... We went to look at another place yesterday, both loved it so we'll be talking to mortgage brokers this week...
