6 Guys from Germany need some places to sleep on their UK-Tour - Can you help us?

Hi everybody,
we (7 Guys from Dresden, Germany) are doing a fixedgear tour from Edinburgh to Paris. We have some stations (see below) where we're looking for a cheap or free accommodation... Do you have an idea or some free beds (or ground for our tents) where we can stay for this time? Maybe somebody knows one who can host us there.
Also we're looking for guides which show us some cool stuff in and around their city, not just the boring tourist things. Maybe there's also a track where we can have a short session and some beer or something like that.
We would be very happy if somebody can help us! :-)

These are our checkpoints:
- Edinburgh (August 22 to 23)
- Carlisle (August 23 to 24)
- Lancester (August 24 to 25)
- Leeds (August 25 to 26)
- Liverpool (August 26 to 28)
- Birmingham (August 28 to 29)
- London (August 29 to September 1st)
  The dates aren't fix yet, just to give an idea when we need a place to sleep.

Sure some people will offer you some digs at some point, but if not, it looks like you can camp here on your London leg.

If you are in Chester ( about 40 miles from Liverpool and en route to Birmingham)on the day and night of Friday 28 or Saturday 29th August, my lawn is big enough to accommodate several tents and you are welcome to stay over. Ich kann ein bisschen Deutsch...David
