Not entirely on topic here but I just bought a TCB Rack from RiehlIndustries on Etsy.
If you're not aware of this particular rack, have a look at it here;

a combination of a Klickfix system and rack can also work if you're handy with a spanner, like what he done.
Perfect! That's my solution right there. Cheers.

I use an Alpkit drybag on the top of my Blackburn rack. Reckon it must be about the same width as that rack of yours.

Only just seen this thread, is it the lovechild of a FBNPNA/Bikepacking/Carradice thread threesome?

suggestions please!
a 30w x 20d x 20h cm bag to transport my ipad and lunch-filled tupperware on a front rack. -

Any alternatives to Carradice saddlebags? Swift Industries are really nice, but pretty expensive, plus hard to find in Europe.

Can anyone suggest a rack that will sit low/close to the mudguard~? And look fairly decent?
It's only going to have a drybag strapped to the top, no heavy panniers.
EDIT: In fact, are there any mudguard/rack combos? It seems odd to have two sets of struts in essentially the same place to a) keep up the rack and b) keep up the mudguards, when one set could be doing both.

Doing London-Paris at the end of the month.
Can someone recommended a decent rear rack and panniers?

Anyone had any experience of these integrated bar/rack things? Gut feeling is that without supports it's gonna put a whole load of strain on your stem clamp with any kind of weight on...

Tubus & Ortleib? Consider framebag plus seatwedge & travel light tho?

Reckon that'd be the case for sure.

You can always use a supporting bracket from the axle.

Went to MacCulloch and Wallis today and bought webbing and Velcro for my Pro Logic. Bag is delicious and I think it will be a rather nice rack bag once I can persuade my gf to attach the Velcro to the bag using her magic sewing skills.

I've used them before without issue. They're just forrin, innit.

Tortec velocity is what I have on my bike, I like the design and simplicity but it lacks rear support / "dogs legs" and my Ortliebs tend to twist to the back. Loading panniers to the front helps, but the other day as I came of a pavement it went into the wheel. Wheel is fine but Ortlieb is badly damaged.
I want to keep the Velocity, nothing else pleases me for that bike when it comes to rear racks. So I'd like to modify it as below... Anyone seen such tweak before? I have some bits of aluminium tube of the right diameter but I'm looking for little elegant connectors, since I cannot weld... Any ideas welcome!

Sorry for the bit picture heavy post. Bought an Prologic fishing bag like the TM is talking about.
I have been thinking about how to make it sit on my rack, but still be able to take it off and use it over my shoulder. Velcro seems like the right choice.Inspired by the bottom of the Ozette rando-bag I got my GF to do this:
As TM says the bag is great. Sturdy and with some big spacious pockets. It fits my 13" mbp and I can have my drawings, notebooks and such in the big hard shell pocket in the bottom of the bag. It seems pretty water proof and overall like a great and cheap solution. Requires som sewing skills though ;-)
Edit: This wasn't supposed to be a reply to veLLo.

So, I was thinking about getting a front rack for my Planet X Pickenflick. After some research, I've seen a lot of threads on numerous forums against using a rack + a carbon fork. Most of them seem to be against racks that are fitted at the brake hole or on eyelets. That would not be the case for my bike since my fork doesn't have eyelets or a brake hole (this being a disc fork).
I was thinking about getting a rack that would fit into the axle and the bar, like this one bellow. A friend of mine would weld one for me. Would it still be a bad idea? I can't see any problems fitting the rack this way, but I would like the input of you guys :)

Thank you. It's homebrew https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/259306/?offset=75
Yup, however a combination of a Klickfix system and rack can also work if you're handy with a spanner, like what he done.
Ironically, my old school cotton bar bag with steel decaleur work out a lots lighter than the klickfix/bag combo.
