Yeah Jill who was instructing us to become instructors said she had given sessions with her recumbent before but I guess I'm kinda looking at my bike(or the bike I'm using) as another tool for teaching. Borrowed a random bike they had and it just made it that little bit easier to remember to hold brakes as I'm getting on/off and easier to remain in the saddle when stopped rather than being slightly off the saddle and sitting into it as I set off. I'm over thinking lots atm tho like when snaking today I was fine at the back but then leading I messed up the pacing first then over compensated paying all my attention to pace and made a still safe but wrong turn.
don't worry, i did my instructor training on fixie skidder with drop bars and time atacs
have delivered nearly all my training on drop bar bikes with clipless pedals, never been a problem
